Leading debt recovery and litigation specialists Legal Recoveries and Collections Ltd (LRC) who are based in Nottingham celebrate a significant milestone birthday of 18 years on 1st July.
LRC was established in 2002 as the result of a MBO from one of the UK’s top international law firms.
LRC are regulated by the SRA and offer a wide range of services from pre legal collections to litigation and post judgment enforcement across many industries including the education, healthcare and the utility sectors, and in 2015 became one of the first debt recovery companies to gain ABS status enabling them to conduct litigation in their own name.
The company is owned by Rachel Rowbotham and Claire Stocks who sit on the board together with Tracey Robinson. Commenting on the milestone Operations Director, Rachel said “We are immensely proud of LRC’s achievements over the last 18 years which has seen the business evolve and adapt in many ways. With the recent Covid-19 pandemic we are giving extra forbearance to our clients customers, yet we are still seeing good recoveries even in these uncertain times. We find encouraging engagement and showing an understanding of the current difficulties keeps the payments coming in. We could not have achieved 18 years of trading without the support of our clients and staff, some of whom have been with us since day 1 and would like to thank them for their loyalty”.
Claire Stocks concluded by saying “It’s a strange time to be celebrating, with many of our staff currently working from home, but we look forward to marking the occasion properly when hopefully we will all be able to return to the office. We remain positive, ambitious and look forward to continued growth.”
